The venue has bright rooms with large writing desk too many drawers, bedroom, for instance and lovely staff. The location is central.

Homely place, I appreciated accommodating personnel.
Everything suited the needs, I would stay here again. This hotel was a reasonable base for cruise. The room was extremely spacious and compact, had upgraded private bathroom. The location was central, marvellous on the whole everything was lovely. It was just a short walk away from The New Gourmet, serving fast food.

It was well-maintained and original hotel overall, everything was lovely, I would give it other than 4 stars. The property location was unbeatable and stunning to five star cruise ship. I did not want to leave there and would come back for sure.

Wonderful hotel, breakfast each day was delicious and the location in the rear court garden was amazing. We got a room with a bath. Got very comfy bed and a tea and a kettle, and instant coffee.

Its location was lovely, really close to the port, centre and bus and Southampton for one night. Café Naked Coffee located 1 km away was a nice surprise.

The breakfast includes fabulous food like toast and eggs. Neat rooms come with rather dated, large writing desk too many drawers plus open window.

Very good breakfast with a very large selection and the hostess was very nice and really warm. I'd go back there anytime.

Warm welcome, opulent breakfast, clean, spacious rooms, lovingly furnished, typical English, exactly what we were looking for, reserved parking spaces in front of the house, modern bathrooms

The kindness of the landlady. The bed was wide and comfortable, not saggy. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful.
The bathroom was not very clean. Black mould in and around the shower, the mirror cabinet had not seen a rag since the house was built

Very nice, clean room and a very good breakfast. The hostess is very friendly and warm.
Unfortunately, our room was facing the street and it was really loud in the night.
